A basket of toys!

Ellie has been persistent that Jay needs toys. Finally she went around her room gathering all her baby toys and brought them to me. “These are for Jay. Now we need batteries!” We cleaned them and put them in a special basket. They will sit in our living room waiting for tiny hands to play with again.

Ellie is fully aware that Jay needs lots of help when he is born. When we pass the baby food isle she always wants to throw some in the cart so that “Jay can eat!” She is eager to help him eat, play, stay clean and so much more. Her mind has been busy preparing for Jays arrival because she wants to help him. She doesn’t expect him to do this baby thing all on his own. When he is born she will make sure she loves and helps him. Guess what? Jesus is fully aware that we need His help. He hasn’t left us stranded. He doesn’t expect us to do life on our own. When we were born He intended on helping guide us through this thing called life. Just like Ellie is eager to help Jay. Jesus is eager to help you. Will you let Him? Will you trust Him?

“But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!” Psalms 54:4 NLT

Howdy! I am passionate about sharing simple God lessons through everyday real life events in my daily life. I’ve been writing since I was 11. What started off as a way to escape or cope with the uncertainty of life, has turned into a calling. I do believe that God has called me to share what He has placed on my heart with all of you! I recently published a children’s book The Chicks Save Easter. You can find it on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Chicks-Save-Easter-Helena-Rayos/dp/B086Y6K19M I pray God finds you where you are and you allow Him to take you where He has called you to love and serve Him.
